Motorola was once well known for offering innovative phones at low prices and quickly releasing new models, but eventually lost its edge and was sold to Lenovo in 2014. 5. It is a smart TV manufacturer
Motorola, an American electronics and telecommunications company founded in 1899, has been creating mobile phones since the early 1990s. One of the earliest providers of cellular technology, it pioneered both “flip phones” with DynaTAC and “clam phones” with MicroTAC models, as well as unveiling its inaugural touchscreen smartphone in 2008 called Motorola Q.
